Adam Whitehead is a veteran of the farrier industry. Early in his career, he focused his practice mainly on western show horses which lead him to shoe at the Appaloosa Nationals and the Paint Horse World shows. As his career progressed he focused his attention on sport horses and lameness concerns, and has worked on horses from 4-H to Olympic levels. As the former Resident Farrier for the University of Florida Veterinary Medical Center Large Animal Hospital, Adam's practice has been primarily therapeutic for all breeds and disciplines. Adam has also had the privilege of educating vet students on the function of the equine foot and the advanced treatment of hoof related problems.

Adam has worked with some of the top veterinarians in the world such as Dr. Murray Brown, Dr. Pat Colahan, Dr. Michael Porter, Dr. Tim Lynch, Dr. Wes Sutter, Dr. Ric Redden, Dr. Scott Morrison and many others.
